Scintilla Communications is a spin-off from HumanXtensions, L.L.C.  Originally founded by Scott C. Lemon, HumanXtensions gained experience in SMS/Text technologies while developing a variety of solutions for clients during several consulting engagements.  As the wealth of knowledge and experience grew developing these one-off solutions, it became apparent that a turn-key platform could be developed to provide a re-usable solution for a wider range of customers.

In January 2008, Scintilla Communications was formed to take this new solution to market.
